Over time, patio areas get pretty grubby: moss, mould, algae and general dirt accumulate over time leaving your patio looking unloved, and potentially a slip hazard. This really depends on what you use to clean it with. Certainly, any cleaning product that requires some kind of pressure, such as that from a pressure washer or just an old fashioned scrub by hand, will require you get down on your knees without the benefit of such equipment.
