Luckily, you’re in the right place! If you know what you’re looking for already, explore our range above. Chlorine and Water Treatments
Getting crystal clear, bubbly water is every hot tub owner’s aim, but it can be quite tricky at first. Everything you put into the water – including your own body when you jump in the tub – affects its chemistry. This makes getting the right chlorine levels, pH levels, and alkalinity a tough balancing act to pull off, especially if you’re new to your hot tub.
We try and make our hot tub chemicals in a way that means they’re simple for newcomers to use while still giving the results you should expect from a professional-quality product. One of our most important chemicals – chlorine – is made with special stabilised granules that stay active for longer. This makes it much easier to keep track of your chlorine levels, which will help you balance the other chemicals you add to the tub.
Anti-Foam and Spa Clarifier
Even if you perfectly balance your spa water, you’ll still have problems with dirt in your water. Chlorine takes care of bacteria in the water, but it doesn’t get rid of dirt. That’s what your filter’s for! However, your filter needs a bit of help from time to time. When you get in your hot tub, skin cells, tiny hairs, particles of makeup, and other assorted bits of dirt and dust will wash off your body and circulate around your hot tub. Your filter will pick up most of these bits, but some are much too small and will slip through. Over time, the buildup of these tiny particles will cause your water to look murky and unappealing. Our Spa Clarifier solves this problem by causing these tiny particles to cling together so they can be caught by your filter, giving you clean, clear water once again.
Another common problem in your hot tub is foam. Foam is welcome when you’re in a bubble bath, but in a hot tub, it’ll quickly overwhelm you, clinging to your body and leaving unsightly watermarks all over your tub. It’s caused by things called surfactants, small particles which appear in the oils from your skin, deodorant, cosmetic products, and tiny bits of washing powder that might cling to your swimwear. Our Anti-Foam neutralises surfactants instantly, causing foam to simply melt away!
It’s important to note that foam is a symptom of unclean water, and Anti-Foam should be used as a simple stop-gap. It shouldn’t, and can’t, be used as a replacement for regular water changes.
Hot Tub Maintenance
Your hot tub is a complex system of interconnected working parts. Each part needs regular maintenance and cleaning so it can carry out its job properly. If one part fails, the whole system will fail, and that can get expensive! Luckily, we stock a whole range of hot tub maintenance products, including a filter cleaner, a system flush, pipe cleaner, and even a surface cleaner. All of these cleaning chemicals are designed to be easy to use, so they’re simple to get to grips with for novices and time-saving for professionals.
